David Gems

David Gems is the Principal Investigator at the Institute of Healthy Aging at University College London, where he hopes to unravel the mystery of human aging by studying the genes that determine longevity in worms. As part of the Glamour Factory at the National Portrait Gallery, he took us on specially created tour exploring notions of life, death and immortality, examining the gallery’s portraits through a scientific angle.
