Bio

Krista worked for 11 years in zoos, first as an animal nutritionist, then as a giraffe keeper. In 2009 dairy science lured her back to graduate school to study dairy goat nutrition and milk chemistry. She has been the Caves Assistant Manager at Murray’s Cheese since July 2015, where she develops new cheeses, cares for young cheese, and teaches the  chemistry unit of the Cheese Bootcamp class offered at Murray’s.
