Matt is currently completing a PhD within the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology. His work investigates the potential to treat blindness by transplanting cells to slow the degeneration or loss of light-sensitive cells in the eye. Matt joined us for Build Your Own Superhero, a series of storytelling workshops we hosted at the Wellcome Trust as part of their Superhuman exhibit. He acted as our scientific advisor for the afternoon, inspiring our storytellers with his knowledge, research, and insights.
