Nikul is an engineer with the firm Buro Happold. He helped us design and build three trebuches – medieval-style weapons of warfare – which we brought to the Secret Garden Party and Wilderness. At the SGP we used them to launch water balloons full of shaving cream at a range of targets, in the shape of the London city skyline. Then, for a last hurrah, we brought them to Wilderness for the grand finale splurdge fight as part of the Future Cinema’s production of Bugsy Malone.
