Sally Holloway

Sally Holloway is a historian of emotions and an affiliated scholar at the Queen Mary Centre for the History of Emotions. Her PhD examined romantic love in eighteenth-century England followed by a postdoc in heartbreak. She specialises in the historical origins of romantic language and love tokens. She is also a fellow at the Australian Centre of Excellence for the History of Emotions, and worked at Kensington Palace and Hampton Court Palace.
