7 February 2018, The Book Club, London
A light-hearted alternative to a traditional Valentine’s night out, Attraction Lab invited friends or lovers to become thought provocateurs, and discover how senses drive desires.
Audiences indulged their adventurous sides by donning blindfolds and taking part in six sense-ational rounds based on cutting-edge research in psychology, neuroscience and genetics. They explored new ways of communicating through sound, touch, taste, smell and movement.
Over several sultry hours in The Book Club basement, guests discovered what the odour of sweat can tell them about a prospective partner, how eating strawberries can transform their capacity for flirtation, and why long vocal chords are sexy.
Viren Swami, psychologist and international expert on attraction, was on hand to separate love facts from myth, share alluring tips, and guide our audience through the fascinating science of human behaviour. The first 20 guests also received a free copy of Viren’s new book, Attraction Explained.
This event was part of our monthly residency with Mothership Group venues.
