In February 2016 we invited an audience of fifty brave and romantic souls to join us in London for a multisensory exploration of human attraction.

Hosted by psychologist Carlota Batres, the event took our audience through a series of sensational challenges based on cutting-edge research in neuroscience, genetics and psychology.

Over two sultry hours in the Book Club, Shoreditch, we invited people to discover what the smell of sweat tells us about a prospective partner, how eating raw kale and apricots transforms our capacity for flirtation, and why long vocal chords are sexy.

Also on offer were an installation of bottled scents from Julia Feuer-Cotter, mysterious love letters from historian Sally Holloway and delicious carotenoid-containing chocolates from food designers Blanch & Shock.
