Space Yoga Under a Rocket Ship
May 31st, Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum
Stretch your way to a greater understanding of the cosmos at our Space Yoga class, offered as part of the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum’s free Friday series.
May in Manhattan is magical, especially at that moment when the sun hits the grid at just the right viewing angle, lending the city a fleeting feeling of order. This year, a few days after “Manhattanhenge” illuminates the skyscrapers, we’ll be bringing our yoga mats to an aircraft carrier to ponder our place in the universe. Under the space ship Enterprise, we’ll breathe in, out, stretch our arms to the sky, and get our bodies in tip top shape for our next trip to outer space. There will be three sessions, at 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m., and 8:00 p.m. Space is limited, and it’s first come, first serve! Arrive early to guarantee a spot.
