We brought the brain to life, creating soundscapes and tasty optical treats from the electricity inside our heads with Luciana Haill, neurofeedback artist.

With a classic spinning dream machine from the 1960s and an EEG brainwave monitor – plus some nifty software and sound samples – she turned the thoughts and dreams of our audience into mesmerising visuals and some very, very strange noises.

Anyone who had the pleasure of wandering into the basement of the Queen of Hoxton last night at the Fishbowl festival would have had very good reason to pause and wonder what on earth we were up to.
