Edward Bracey

Edward will talk brains at you given any opportunity. He is a sensory neuroscientist and Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Sainsbury Wellcome Centre for Neural Circuits and Behaviour. He explores how the brain interprets stimuli like sound, light and smell to make sense of the environment, creating our version of reality. He also writes Helen’s Element, a comic which explains GCSE biology as an adventure story. Edward is a long-time collaborator with us, originally taking part in developing Lab Rats at Glastonbury and New Scientist Live, through to co-hosting  Psychedelic Life Drawing at Secret Garden Party and The Book Club.
