Adrian Owen

Neuroscientist Adrian studies consciousness: in 2010 he made medical history when he demonstrated that many patients in so-called vegetative states are actually conscious. Adrian lectured on consciousness at the Secret Garden Party in 2010 and on memory techniques at Latitude in 2009. Previously at the MRC Brain Sciences Unit at the University of Cambridge, Adrian moved in 2011 to take a position as a Canada Excellence Research Chair in Cognitive Neuroscience and Imaging at The University of Western Ontario.
