Anil Seth

Anil Seth is a neuroscientist at the University of Sussex, where he is Co-Director of the Sackler Centre for Consciousness Science. Anil seeks to understand the biological basis of consciousness by bringing together research across neuroscience, mathematics, artificial intelligence, computer science, psychology, philosophy and psychiatry. He is a long-time collaborator with us, previously speaking at Brain Banquet, dispelling myths about consciousness at Secret Garden Party, and collaborated with us to develop The Appointment installation at Open Senses festival and Escape to Reality installation at FutureFest, which explored perceptions of conscious reality.
