Ravi is a graduate student in the psychology department at University College London, where he researches addiction – and specifically an emerging drug of abuse, ketamine. With fellow UCL student Will Lawn, he joined us at the Secret Garden Party in 2013 to host the Pleasure & Pain table at our Neuropharmacological Canapes, where he served up lemonade (to illustrate ketamine-induced ulcerative cystitis in the bladder – yum), cookies laced with foul-tasting Bitrex, chocolate, pistachios (which contain a precursor to serotonin) and Pina Dopaminada shots (embedded with L-tryosine, a dopamine precursor). He rejoined at the Secret Garden Party in 2014 to host Drug Games and take part in our Hedonistic Treasure Hunt.
