Project Floater
In November and December 2014 we ran a series of workshops with students from the St Paul’s Way Trust School in East London to explore the science of biofuels.
Working in collaboration with the wonderful Floating Cinema we devised six workshops – from building algae bioreactors to growing energy crops, making fruit-powered electrical circuits, creating algae-inspired animations, and even exploring the chemical power of poo…
Joining us to make, plant, paint, solder and grow were algae expert Mike Sulu from University College London, Amy Cooper from the Secret Seed Society and artist Ana Ospina. The project was also documented in this lovely short film produced by the good folks of Chocolate Films.
