Human Cell Atlas

We provided training and consultancy to assist Wellcome’s Human Cell Atlas research project in developing effective public outreach activities.

Guerilla Science was invited to run a training workshop and provide support in developing effective public outreach activities, to shape the content of a Wellcome Trust Research Enrichment grant application to develop a public engagement programme for the Human Cell Atlas research project.

The Human Cell Atlas is an international project bringing together a community of world-leading scientists to build a collection of maps that will describe and define the cellular basis of health and disease.

Training was attended by researchers and members of the public engagement teams. The session took place at the Wellcome Genome Campus, which includes some of the world’s foremost institutes and organisations in genomics and computational biology. Follow up guidance support was also provided on planning the delivery of the proposed programme, alongside ongoing assessment and feedback for the grant application prior to submission. Following submission, the research enrichment grant application was awarded the full requested amount.

“Thank you for your extremely valuable help and input!”
